Paul Twitchell, the group’s founder, plagiarized and adapted large amounts of material from books on the Radha Soamis. "Sri" Darwin Gross, who succeeded Twitchell as the group’s Mahanta/Living ECK Master, was ousted in 1983 and replaced by "Sri" Harold Klemp.
